SECURE ONLINE ORDERING:    We are in the process of putting the latest encryption technology in place for this purpose.  It is not yet finished, so please use the following options:

TELEPHONE ORDERS (757) 220-1805 BY CREDIT CARD:    At the present time, we accept VISA and MASTERCARD.  To protect your security, prevent fraud, and because we cannot personally swipe your card's Magnetic stripe to obtain the bank's authorization, the bank requires the following:

Call with your 16-digit credit card number with expiration date, your complete name as it appears on your card, the address to which the card is billed, and on newer cards--the last 3 or 4 digit number on the back of the card on the signature line (signature line code).

ORDERING BY MAIL:    Please make your check or money order payable to: LIGHTFOOT MANOR SHOPPE 
Personal checks must be imprinted with name, street address (NO P.O. Boxes), and daytime telephone number.  Checks may be held up to 14 days for verification.  PLEASE NEVER SEND CASH THROUGH THE MAIL!

VIRGINIA SALES TAX of 5% will apply to all orders shipped to Virginia.  Merchandise and personalization charges are taxable.  Shipping charges are not taxable.

PLEASE NOTE:  All items subject to availability.  Prices are subject to change without notice, but will be verified at time of order placement. Shipping on returned orders is nonrefundable.

SHIPPING

C.O.D.:    Sorry, we do NOT ship COD.

UPS GROUND:    Our normal shipping method is by insured UPS GROUND within the continental United States only.  Alaska and Hawaii require AIR.  Shipping to a residence as opposed to a business costs more.  Oversized packages or those with special packing cost more.  We can quote on Overnight, 2nd or 3rd Day Express Shipping Options when necessary.  UPS deliveries can be tracked.

United States Post Office:   Packages that must go to a P. O. Box or to the military such as with APO and FPO addresses must go to Parcel Post and delivery tracking is not available.  Therefore, we cannot guarantee receipt of your order in those instances.

International Shipping:    will be quoted on a per request basis IF we can accommodate your request.

AVAILABILITY:    Items in stock will ship within 2-5 business days unless they are being rushed, custom-engraved, personalized, gift-wrapped, or require other special instructions.  SPECIAL-ORDER ITEMS may take an estimated 2 to 8 weeks depending on the items (as some items may be made-to-order) all are high quality.

SHIPPING RATES:    Minimum lowest shipping rate is $12.00 per standard-size box to same address.  Call (757) 220-1805 to get a quote on multiple boxes or EXPRESS or unusual shipping.

SHIPPING TIME:    UPS from our store to most of Virginia and up and down the East Coast usually takes 1-2 days, to the Midwest takes 3-5 days, and UPS Ground from East Coast to West Coast or vice-versa usually takes 5-6 days shipping time.  Some packages may come to you directly from the manufacturer instead of from us here in Williamsburg, Virginia depending on the circumstances.  Most arrive within 2-4 weeks time.

SHIPPING A GIFT TO ANOTHER ADDRESS:   We can also ship to someone for you with a gift card enclosed.  Give us the message to put on the card.  In that case, we still need your information, along with the recipient's name, address and phone.

RETURN POLICY:   Call for detailed information especially on personalized or special order items and order with care.  Verify all personalization and shipping information.  Custom-engraved, personalized, and special-order items are NOT returnable UNLESS DAMAGED IN SHIPPING OR DEFECTIVE in which case they will be replaced.  This is a rare occurrence.
   Within 7 days of receipt of package, get authorization from us so we can arrange an insured UPS CALL TAG to be issued at our expense.  You must repack the package carefully, enclose a copy of your invoice or description of item/s with your name, address, phone, and REASON FOR RETURN, and UPS will pick the package back up within 7 to 14 business days.  If they miss you, they will try 2 more times.
    Other items may be EXCHANGED if unsatisfactory or if wrong size (ie: necklace chain too short, etc.) when carefully repacked and returned in the same package, insured for the original value, and in original saleable condition.  Personalized or special-order items cannot be exchanged or returned.  You must first obtain preauthorization from us with notification within 14 days.
After 14 days, returns will be on a per case basis only.  Shipping cannot be reimbursed.  We cannot be responsible if you fail to properly pack or insure the item/s when you return them to us. 

ENGRAVING or PERSONALIZATION ERROR RETURNS:  Be sure all information is verified at the time of the order.  Double-check spellings and dates.  If it is your mistake, it is yours to keep.  If it is our mistake, we will replace the item with new personalization and pay for the shipping as well.
